fabric worlds with wood

Here are four pieces that came out of a creative painting course I did in the fall. Although there is some paint, most of the work is created using fabric and elements like wood, tape and nails to add details. It was fun to create worlds out of these materials which were always plentiful to me growing up: fabric leftovers from mom's sewing, and bits of wood from dad's workshop.
